It has been a while, but I come with news~
I have finally finished designing my own portfolio website, a place for my drawings and personal info! It really took me a long time and in the end I needed some help to get the website live, because I was that clueless at that point, but finally.. it's all done! At least for now. :D

And I have a new computer! It's an iMac 27", i5, 3.1 GHz beastly machine. <3 It's amazingly fast and easy to work with, I'm totally a mac person now & I regret nothing! :D All worth it. Great computer for creative people.
I've been wanting it for more then a year and I did a lot of research on it, it wasn't just like ''Oh, hey, I wanna buy a mac today!'' and after a lot of pros and cons lists [lol cons? who am I kidding? There are no cons, except it's too good to be true.] I made the decision to purchase it after all. Wise decision. :D
P.s. here in Latvia with all the taxes this moder would have costed me ~800 USD more, can you imagine the unfairness? And no, I did NOT get it here, I got a good deal in the UK, the fair one.
As now I can work more productively, soon enough there will be new artsy things~ ♥
Very nice! I will have to drop in and check the website out and add it to my book marks. I've been wondering for a while if I should get a mac. I'm so stuck on HP. Not only that but windows as well. I just don't know if I'm ready to learn the Mac way. But I'm still curious, how better it runs.
ReplyDeleteI actually had never tried a mac before [I couldn't even find the ''turn on'' button when unpackaged it xD], but when I started to browse through it and see what it does, it actually surprised me. Was a bit unusual at first, but somehow everything is really obvious and not that complicated, when you start to grasp it [which is pretty fast]. There are some simple features that lift off such a weight, I never thought they would matter this much.
ReplyDeleteI'm slowly getting everything organized as I'm moving from my old pc to this one, I have such loads of pictures, videos and everything else and finally it feels like they won't be scattered everywhere, like it was before [I always had desktop full of EVERYTHING. xD Although I had nice folders prepared on my hard drive].

I just might have to check it out then. I heard a lot of artist say they use Mac...so why not. Thanks for the great info.
