More than one tail.

Hello!

I'm currently working on a 30x40 cm canvas painting with acrylics. At first [a few months back] I hated acrylics, but I just took them out and made myself use them and as a shock it came to me - they are perfect for smaller canvas illustration style painting. ♥ I wish someone told me earlier. ^^''
I have only six colours - green, yellow, red, pink, blue and white - so colour mixing theory comes in handy, thank gosh I understand colour, as I did not only a couple years back, I was struggling with how to make it work, but now it's all okay. I even had to make a dark shade out of these six, but as I need it even more darker, I guess it's time to purchase black, ech.
And working with acrylics is a nicely paced process, I'm glad they dry fast, though sometimes it's a big disadvantage. Anyhow, I'm gonna finish it this week so yay! Shall post finished version then~

Oh. And the animal has more then one tail, you'll see. The sketch is a lie! :D

Take care, thanks for checkin'~ ♡

  3. Arta, thank you so much for you replies on formspring.me! You're such a sweet person!
I'll try to put your advice into practise tomorrow.
You're absolutely right! The combination of colours is very important, it plays such a great role in first impression. And people, who can understand, feel these combination, who can create wonderful pictures using their hands and fantasy only, admire me. I'm not good at it, to be honest. But I have been doing ballet since early childhood, and I sensitively feel beauty. So, I understand that my design is ugly, horrible, imperfect, but I don't have skills and creative enough view to remake, improve it.
I'm humanist, philologist-student, and all these web-design's abstrusenesses depress me.=)
But I'm so inspired by you, your art works, your blog that...well, I want to try. As the saying goes, nothing ventured, nothing gained.=)
    Thank you!

  4. Sweetie, thank you again!

It took me time to understand colour, I even thought that I will never get around it, but honestly, all that is needed is time and practice, you can't just wait around for something that you want to happen, you have to earn it.
Good luck with your blog! C:
